Data Processing and Reporting

Geophysical borehole logging is essentially a data business. Robertson Geo Services (RGS) understand that the provision of high quality, conformance certified data is paramount to their success which is why all our data is QC’d by our Data Solutions Team.

Data quality begins with conformance guaranteed probes, deployed safely and efficiently by highly trained, solution oriented, engineers using established methodologies. Data is monitored onscreen in real time by logging engineers ensuring that only the best quality data is recorded. If required, field logs can be produced at the end of each probe run. Wherever practical, the field engineers who collect the data also process their own data, assuring customers of a fast turnaround for processed data.

Data processing can be performed on-site or back at base depending upon project constraints. In-house developed and industry standard software is used to produce standard and customised log displays and reports. Quality is assured by engineers who are expert in processing and data interpretation and a final QC check is performed by the Data Solutions Team. All data is maintained by RGS in perpetuity ensuring that all data collected can never be lost.

A 3rd party data QC and processing service is also available for rental customers using Robertson Geo equipment who want to benefit from RGS’s processing expertise.
