Certification for all probes includes visual and mechanical inspection before calibration and borehole testing at the Robertson Geo borehole testing and calibration centre at Tre Morfa. Industry references at ELGI Hungary and the DWLBC calibration pits (API) in Adelaide were used to establish calibration benchmarks at the borehole testing and calibration centre at Tre Morfa. Data from 1000’s of borehole runs in the Tre Morfa test borehole is collated to provide a reference standard used to check that probe responses are within tight tolerances.
Where it is impractical to return probes for conformance testing at the UK facility, calibration jigs can be supplied to allow field calibrations to be undertaken. Full details of calibration procedures, relevant reference data, software and jigs are provided to support remote calibrations.
