Robertson Geo Services provide premium quality logging services across all industry sectors including Geotechnical, Renewables, Mining & Minerals and Water & Environmental. State of the art equipment coupled with extensive engineer training means that logging can be performed effectively in any logging environment.
For land operations a fleet of modern customised vehicles, with permanently secured winches, including 4x4s and larger 2WD vans, can be deployed in the UK and across Europe. Where terrain is inaccessible, even to 4WD vehicles, the engineers can switch smoothly to a portable system based on the mini winch, which can be hand carried or loaded onto an all-terrain carrier.
The challenges posed by over-water logging, in lakes and rivers, are easily overcome by marine capable equipment deployed by engineers trained in all aspects of marine safety. Push systems are available for steeply angled, horizontal and vertically oriented boreholes, such as those commonly found in underground mining and tunnel applications.
Marine applications, particularly offshore wind farm (OWF) geotechnical investigation, are a speciality for Robertson Geo Services. Marine resistant equipment, developed specifically for this market, has proved to be extremely robust when deployed on barges, jack-up platforms and heave compensated drill ships, reducing costly attributable downtime to near zero. See our dedicated Marine Geotechnics website for more information.
